What is a presentation?

By June 4, 2014PowerPoint

A presentation is a situation where a person tries to communicate an idea to a group of people, using a combination of words, pictures symbols and sounds. Presentations tend to be stressful for the person giving the presentation, boring for the audience, take up a lot of resources (in terms of people and time) for the organisation and often don’t fully achieve their aims. Often there is a lot riding on the presentation, a new project, venture or product, whose future lies on the quality of the presentation.
The reason that people continue to give presentations is that, when they are properly designed and delivered, they can be incredibly effective in putting a set of ideas across. Our aim is to help you achieve this.
